I offer customized therapeutic massage by appointment at Parker Wellness & Counseling. My standard sessions range between 60 - 80 minutes; however, I recognize that your time and resources may be limited. Know that we will work together to determine whether a standard session will best fit your needs and desired outcomes and that we can always modify as needed.
During an oncology massage session, my intention, first and foremost, is to support and nurture you. In order to account for cancer-related symptoms and side effects of treatment, we will modify pressure, site, and positioning for our session; however, all cancer patients and survivors can receive some form of touch therapy. Indeed, touch can be a powerful, positive experience wherever your are on your journey.

Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another benefit of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness that you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. This also makes chair massage ideal for office settings and public events. Typically, an individual chair massage session last about 15 minutes, but I can tailor the duration to your needs. For larger groups, I charge $1 per minute, and sessions range between 5 and 15 minutes per person, depending on group size and schedule.
Whether you come to yoga practice with an intention to address structural, emotional, or spiritual concerns, a private session can help you develop a strong personal practice that's tailored to your body and mind. Together, we will work to identify your goals for your yoga practice and develop sequences that will support you in achieving those goals.
